Sixth Form Life

We are a school sixth form, but Year 12 has a different feel to being in Year 11. You will be expected to responsibility for your own learning and progress, and how much you get out of your whole sixth form experience really does depend on how much you put in. Some of our most successful students have been people who didn’t get top grades at GCSE, but discovered subjects that they loved, worked hard from the beginning of Year 12, and made the most of all the career and networking opportunities that they were offered.

Whilst we do feel slightly different to the rest of the school, you are very much part of the Langdon Park school community. You have an important role to play in the wider life of the school, both as role models and as support for the younger students. As such, you are required to follow our code of conduct and dress code – see below.

Sixth form leaders and student representatives are currently working to review our privilege system. If you would like to have input to this process, please contact Ms Miah.
