The Money Charity
As some of our year 13s take their next steps into university life, we believe it is important for them to be financially literate and dispel some misconceptions surrounding finances. March 7th saw The Money Charity provide a workshop - Living Independently (uni living) this included:
- Student Finance: Myth Buster
- The Cost of Living at Uni
- Common Uni Money Worries
“It was helpful as it supported us in understanding how to save and manage money for university, providing an insight into taxes and rent”. Year 13 student
We also had a second visit from The Money Charity that supported our business students with:
- Saving for Your Goals
- Credit Unravelled
- Staying on Top of Your Banking
These sessions appeared to be just what our students needed and was much appreciated.
