RSHE
VISION
Our vision for RSHE curriculum is to create a culture of excellence that provides transparency and equity for all our students to cultivate well-rounded and informed members of the local and global community.
CURRICULUM INTENT
The intent of our Relationship, Sex, and Health Education (RSHE) is that it supports, embrace, and embeds Langdon Park School's values. This is built on our shared belief that it is important that pupils:
BE KNOWLEDGEABLE
Prepare students for puberty, and give them an understanding of sexual development and the importance of health and hygiene.
BE PROFESSIONAL
Provide a framework in which sensitive discussions can take place.
BE INCLUSIVE
Help students develop feelings of self-respect, confidence, and empathy.
Create a positive culture around issues of sexuality and relationships.
BE A LEARNER
Teach students the correct vocabulary to describe themselves and their bodies.
